Loose Tooth!

Chloe has been on a mission to get one of her loose teeth out. Being her third one, she is becoming and old pro at it. The first one was a real tragedy as she did not like the blood that followed. But the $10 under her pillow from the tooth fairy made up for that!!! The second tooth was an entirely different story. She was so anxious to get rid of it, she talked Nana into pulling it out for her. This one netted a profit of only $5, but she was still pretty excited. She decided this time that she wanted to loose it at school because she wanted the 'treasure chest' that they put it in.
So today, I had to work and Todd picked her up from school. When she came downstairs into my office, she was holding her hand over her mouth. She did not want to take her hand down, but I asked how her tooth was, and she gave me a HUGE smile! And yes, there was a bit of a gap in her bottom teeth. She then pulled the 'treasure chest' out of her pocket. It was this little tiny plastic chest to keep her tooth safe until she could get it under her pillow.
Well, it made it under the pillow and I almost made the ultimate mistake!!! Thank goodness for Daddy! I was on my way to bed when he reminded me that the tooth fairy had not come yet! So, I put my last $5 bill in her chest and tomorrow morning over breakfast we will discuss how she missed the tooth fairy again! (Her hope is to catch the tooth fairy in action!)
